On 05th of July, a small gathering was held at Arya Tara School to celebrate Teacher's Day. Teachers' are the second parents in every child's life. All the children learns and get the guidance and support in the work from their teachers and also receives encouragement and appreciation in success and good work.
The Teachers' Day celebration started with a warm welcome by Ani Tenpa Choden. She offered "Khada" (Buddhist Holy Scarf) to all the teachers of Arya Tara School and hand made cards to convey their wishes and regards to their wonderful teachers.
On the occasion of Teachers' Day, the nuns at Arya Tara School had a special treat for their beloved teachers. The nuns recite Guru Buddha Prayer, sang Dolpo song and also performed in some hindi songs for the teachers. All the members of Arya Tara School and Nuns' Welfare Foundation attended this celebration. At the end of the programme, the teachers served snacks to the nuns.
