On November 20, 2008, Ani Choying Dolma, along with all the nuns and teachers of Arya Tara School, attended the enthronement ceremony of Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche at Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling Monastery in Boudhanath. Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche (1920 -1996) was widely acknowledged as one of the great meditation masters of the 20th century. Throughout the course of his life he spent more than 20 years in mediation retreat. When not in retreat, Rinpoche received a steady stream of other high lamas, scholars, students and practitioners from around the world. Ani Choying Dolma herself spent twelve years of her early life under the teachings and guidance of her guru, Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche. Today, whatever she is and has achieved so far in her life, she dedicates to her beloved guru.
