Blood Donation Camp organized by Nuns’ Welfare Foundation of Nepal

This is the third time that Nuns’ Welfare Foundation of Nepal organized Blood Donation Camp.  The first blood donation camp was organized at Sechen Monastery and second around Bouddhanath Stupa.  The camp was successfully completed so, NWF plans to make this an annual event.

On 15th June 2011, Nuns’ Welfare Foundation of Nepal with the kind help of Nepal Red Cross Society organized a Blood Donation Camp at Jamtsen Lhakhang, Boudhanath from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.  The main objectives of this noble camp were to make a positive contribution to the society by donating blood.  There were more donors beyond expectation.  Chaudhary Group provided 250 Rio Juices for the donors.  Rio Juice, Glucose, Biscuits and Fruits were distributed to all the blood donors.  The camp was organized by three nuns- Ani Kunchok Paldon, Ani Pema Lhakey Dolma and Pema Rinchen Palmo.

We want to show our gratitude to all the blood donors who made this camp successful and Chaudhary Group for providing Rio Juices.  We want to tell everyone that why not take that short time from our busy lives and bring compassion into action by participating in a blood donation program.
