  • Felicitated as women of peace title by Zonta International in Italy, 2001
  • Felicitated by Everest Foundation Nepal (August 2004)
  • Was awarded the Image Channel award for best female vocal performance for the year 2005.
  • Inaugurated “Samay Chakra” an art exhibition by Ragini Upadhya in Siddharth Art Gallery, Kathmandu.
  • Was awarded the “Chinnalata Puruskar” in Kathmandu for best female vocal performance (2005).
  • Felicitated by the Metro FM 94.1, Nepal (September 2005)
  • The Tibetan Music Awards held in Mcleod Ganj (Delhi) on October 22, 2005 awarded Choying Drolma’s album for the Best Devotional Album.
